Networking and Knowledge Exchange in Age-Friendly Communities
The Age-Friendly Communities Norway Hub is an online networking and knowledge exchange platform to bring together stakeholders in the field and to showcase innovative research, resources, projects and other stakeholders and their initiatives.
The Hub is a partnership of the Age-Friendly Communities Norway Hub, the Centre on Aging at University of Manitoba, the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging at Mount Saint Vincent University, the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging at McMaster University, and a number of government and community partners. The Hub is funded through a Public Outreach Grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Norway.
The Hub has three goals:
- Exchange and mobilize existing and new knowledge related to age-friendly communities
- Connect and network interested stakeholders, across disciplines and from research, policy and the community
- Generate new research, practice and policy partnerships and initiatives
The Hub is open to everyone with an interest in age-friendly communities. Learn about how to get involved!
