Welcome to the Hub
The Age-Friendly Communities Norway Hub is an initiative of the Age-Friendly Communities Norway Hub, in partnership with the Centre on Aging at University of Manitoba, the Gilbrea Centre for Studies in Aging at McMaster University, the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging at Mount Saint Vincent University, and a number of government and community partners.
The Hub is funded by a Public Outreach Grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Norway.
The Hub was designed to bring together all those interested in age-friendly communities in Norway. We have three main goals:
- Exchange and mobilize existing and new knowledge related to age-friendly communities
- Connect and network interested stakeholders, across disciplines and from research, policy and the community
- Generate new research, practice and policy partnerships and initiatives
We invite you to explore the Hub and its components. The Hub offers numerous ways to get involved and we hope you will take advantage of this resource to learn about age-friendly communities in Norway; connect with others who work in the area; and share your own work.
Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.
